The Salvation Army of Northwest Louisiana has been providing a wide range of programs and services throughout Caddo, Bossier, Webster, Claiborne, De Soto, Red River, Bienville, and Sabine Parishes since 1904. Each year we help thousands of men, women, children, veterans, seniors, and families.
We are dedicated to meeting the needs of individuals and families in crisis situations in a loving and Christian manner and treat every person coming through our doors with dignity, respect, and confidentiality. Our social services extend through The Salvation Army Merkle Center of Hope Shelter, The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club, The Salvation Army Thrift Store, Disaster Services, Saints Alive! Seniors Program, veterans’ services, economic relief, food pantries, holiday assistance, and much more.
