*** The Youth Enrichment Program (YEP) was started over 30 years ago, in 1987. YEP provides after-school programs to 31 elementary schools in Caddo, Bossier, and DeSoto parishes.
*** Any Give for Good donations will be used to help after-school programs at YEP Plus tutoring sites only. These sites are located at eight (8) Title I elementary schools in our community and serve approximately 240 children. The YEP Plus sites are designed to serve children who may experience environmental situations that negatively impact their academic success.
*** Family economic hardship, according to research from The National Center of Children in Poverty, is a chief risk factor for young children. YEP Plus works toward reducing the effects of these risks by providing a curriculum focused on increasing academic and social skills.

Mission
The mission of the Youth Enrichment Program is to provide after-school academic and enrichment programs to elementary-aged children from diverse cultural and social backgrounds, and to ensure that they have the opportunity to grow and develop in a safe, nurturing atmosphere. ***FUNDS RAISED DURING THE GIVE FOR GOOD DAY OF GIVING WILL BE USED TO SUPPORT THE YEP PLUS SITES ONLY.
