Mary Queen of Peace St. Vincent de Paul Conference

The annual Give for Good fundraiser is the only fundraiser Mary, Queen of Peace SVdP Conference conducts.  This fundraiser along with Poor Box collections are the only sources of funding MQP SVdP has to provide one-time emergency assistance to the less fortunate in our area.  Your donation will be used to help to prevent evictions, utility disconnections, and/or provide emergency food to the friends in need who reach out to us. Please help us to help those who need a helping hand by donating to this worthy ministry.

Diocesan Appeal Support of St Vincent de Paul:

Through the generosity of the Bishop of Shreveport, the Eastern District (6 conferences), the Southern District (1 conference), and the Western District (12 conferences) Society of St Vincent de Paul receives annual support from the Diocesan Appeal.  Because of this support, the 19 SVdP Conferences and Councils can pay for their insurance, solidarity dues, and operating costs (i.e., storage fees, Helpline phone line, printing costs) without using funds given by our parishioners on behalf of those in need.  With your Give for Good support, the Mary, Queen of Peace conference can use 100% of your donation for assisting those not as materially blessed.
